Health Disparities
Health disparities impact communities daily. The disparities stem from inequitable differences in disease, injury, violence, or opportunities to achieve optimal health in socially disadvantaged populations.
We will discuss health disparities with local experts. Dr. Abebe and Dr. Renbarger will discuss their research on health disparities, and Pastor Neil Kring and Executive Director of Whitely Community Council, Ken Hudson, will share the challenges they face within the community.
